Sound objects
A group of people recieved 2,4 g clay and a tuning fork. I asked them to form the clay after the sound of the tuningfork. All the different clay figures was dipped in wax and cast in bronze – so that they all became hollow objects.
When hit with a small hammer they all sound different. Each sound is described with as form, direction, and texture in a skeectbook together with a sceetch and a sound wave image.
The project was exhibited in Gallery Marzee NL 2009
