Alula

Alula is a series of necklaces – a play with materials and composition. The materials generate different sounds when touched and my wish is to create jewelry which invite the wearer to touch and use the senses.

I am not looking for specific sounds like sequences in music but the individual sound that emanate from material touching material. The acoustic quality of the material interests me as I search for the sound it produces in different ways. Most of these necklaces have a space inside – a poetic break with room for no-thing.
